[Warning to Obama] Canada To Sell Their Oil To China If XL Pipeline Isn’t Approved Soon

So, not only our jobs going to China but pretty soon our oil, too?

Amplifyd from conservativewatchnews.com

Obama “the job destroyer” has come even closer to not only losing all the jobs that would come with the XL Pipeline but also losing all that oil:

Canada is now looking to Asian countries to market its abundance of oil, natural gas and minerals as plans to build the proposed Keystone XL pipeline have stalled with the U.S. administration.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper will travel to China next month to discuss selling Canada’s bounty to the rapidly growing nation.

Breast Cancer Surgeon Explains How Abortion Elevates Cancer Risk for Women

Amplifyd from www.lifenews.com

As breast cancer awareness month winds down, one leading breast cancer surgeon and professor has written an explanation of one of the risks women need to keep in mind when talking with friends and family about the deadly disease — abortion.

Dr. Angela Lanfranchi is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey.

She is a surgeon who, as the co-director of the Sanofi-aventis Breast Care Program at the Steeplechase Cancer Center, has treated countless women facing a breast cancer diagnosis. Lanfranchi was named a 2010 Castle Connolly NY Metro Area “Top Doc” in breast surgery.

In an article she wrote for the medical journal Linacre Quarterly, Lanfranchi talks about why abortion presents women problems and increases their breast cancer risk:
A growing amount of evidence from quality studies suggests that induced abortion, but not spontaneous abortion or miscarriage, increases risk of breast cancer.

Induced abortion boosts breast cancer risk because it stops the normal physiological changes in the breast that occur during a full term pregnancy and that lower a mother’s breast cancer risk. A woman who has a full term pregnancy at 20 has a 90% lower risk of breast cancer than a woman who waits until age 30.

As soon as a woman conceives, the embryo secretes human chorionic gonadotrophin or hCG, the hormone we check for in pregnancy tests.

By the end of her pregnancy, 85% of her breast tissue is cancer resistant. Each pregnancy thereafter decreases her risk a further 10%.

Cigarette smoke is a carcinogen. While only 15% of cigarette smokers get lung cancer, the risk has been well acknowledged. In comparison, induced abortion as a risk factor for breast cancer is somehow not as widely publicized.

Issa Explains Basic Flaws of #SOPA Legislation

Taxpayer Funding Used for Cocaine, Dead People and Billy Dee Williams - John Hull, Yahoo! News

Want to know where we can cut expenses? Here are 100 places to start...

Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., released his 2011 Waste Book Tuesday, detailing preposterous uses for your hard-earned money.

While Democrats, including the campaigner-in-chief, want to raise taxes on employers, the federal government is spending billions on drug-themed hippie pizzerias, promoting animal cruelty and booze for parties.

The report shows that the federal government has spent $35.38 million to "help pay for the stages, confetti, balloons, food, and booze for their political conventions." Both parties receive $17.7 million for these lavish soirees. What benefit, exactly, are the taxpayers receiving from this?

Some of the accomplishments of America’s fourth greatest President compared to those who didn’t make the cut…

This is nauseating…

“You definitely have some impressive accomplishments.”

“Why thank you, Steve.”

"Everywhere is Barack Obama country once Barack Obama's been there." BO (And I'm not just referring to his initials...)

"You're gonna be successful if you can get your ego out of it." BO

Somebody hand me a bag. Never mind… Too late.

Tax payers footing the bill for the Chevy Volt

And we're paying $7000.00 per car for rebates - And mostly "rich" people, municipalities, the Federal Government and GE are buying them. We paid billions to develop the thing and now we're paying people to buy them.

Shocking...

Well, maybe not..

The Past and the Present - Thomas Sowell

A few points from a very good article.

If Newt Gingrich were being nominated for sainthood, many of us would vote very differently from the way we would vote if he were being nominated for a political office.

This is not just another election and Barack Obama is not just another president whose policies we may not like. With all of President Obama's broken promises, glib demagoguery and cynical political moves, one promise he has kept all too well. That was his boast on the eve of the 2008 election: "We are going to change the United States of America."

Internationally, it is worse. A president who has pulled the rug out from under our allies, whether in Eastern Europe or the Middle East, tried to cozy up to our enemies, and has bowed low from the waist to foreign leaders certainly has not represented either the values or the interests of America. If he continues to do nothing that is likely to stop terrorist-sponsoring Iran from getting nuclear weapons, the consequences can be beyond our worst imagining.

Against this background, how much does Newt Gingrich's personal life matter, whether we accept his claim that he has now matured or his critics' claim that he has not?

Those who want to concentrate on the baggage in Newt Gingrich's past, rather than on the nation's future, should remember what Winston Churchill said: "If the past sits in judgment on the present, the future will be lost." If that means a second term for Barack Obama, then it means lost big time.

Ex-President Carter sends condolences to Kim Jong-un

Success at what?

Amplifyd from www.washingtontimes.com
Former President Jimmy Carter has sent North Korea a message of condolence over the death of Kim Jong-il and wished "every success" to the man expected to take over as dictator, according to the communist country's state-run news agency.

North Korea is routinely labeled as one of the world's most oppressive governments under an eccentric personality cult surrounding the Kim family. Harrowing reports from defectors describe North Korea as a dirt-poor nation filled with concentration camps and Communist propaganda. Kim Jong-il ran the reclusive country according to a "military first" policy since the mid-1990s, after a famine that may have killed as many as 2 million people.

The former U.S. president also downplayed a 2010 North Korean attack on a South Korean island and disclosure of a uranium enrichment facility, saying the acts were merely "designed to remind the world that they deserve respect in negotiations that will shape their future."
